For their Senior Project, the Class of 2004 did a reprise of 2001 with another successful walkathon. A total of 14 teams competed, with each trying to log the most miles. With a dominant 41-member team, the seniors took first place, walking a total of just over 150 miles. The top individual walker was seventh grader Tyler Mowery, who completed an amazing 81 laps, or 20 ¼ miles. Participants were again asked to support the Helping Hand food pantry, and more than six very large boxes of food were donated. In addition, the Class of 2004 raised $1,279 to benefit the L-P Schools.
